All the best intentions are there, but with Jubilee fever raging around it is very hard to focus for long enough to come up with witty comments, let alone something that will change the world.
The dream is that tomorrow there will be time for more writerly pursuits. The grandchildren will be away so I won’t be able to blame them for distracting me, Not that I mind their cheerful distractions, nor will I complain about the rest of the royal celebrations.
60 years dedication is an incredible feat.
