Give a little, help a lot.
I am a writer, and am in the process of writing a novel about a family and how the family relationships are put under pressure by Cystic Fibrosis.
I have been very touched by the help I have had from people who are affected by this disease who have given me help with my research, and shared some of the difficulties they face on a day to day basis.
I would like to do something to help them in return. The best I can hope for is that my book raises awareness of the damage this illness can do to the sufferers and their families, and in doing so raise money for research into the disease and perhaps encourage more people to join the transplant register.
When the book is finished I will publish it on Amazon and donate £1 per book sold in the UK, or $1 per book sold in the US.
How many people can be encouraged to buy this book?
That rather depends on how many people join this community and help spread the word.
